1982 BJ42 (diesel fj40 landcruiser) DIESEL land cruiser

bringing it south is a possibility .... we would have to discuss the possibility of me moving it...... i don't work for free... .. if you drive it yourself it's simple... or if you want to ship it i know a cool customs broker... .... i can drop it to the border for a shipper.... ... i cannot import for another person but a broker can.... it costs about 300

Can you please post a few interior shots?

You mention driving it across the border... How drivable is it? Short distances only type thing? Any rough guess at Mileage?

i'm sure the mileage is pretty hgh..... i know the rear diff was replaced for sure... i can throw in a spare trans...... it was the guys driver since 86.... i don't know how much he drove though.... that's the only interior shot i have right now.... i may be leaving tomorrow... not sure.... i bought it recently and have only actually seen it once because it is an hour away on a friend farm (who is a certified nut case!).... unfortunately the camera batteries died. Most of these shot were from the PO. The jump seats were there and looked good but i didn't fold them down because of time and all the parts in the back. The headliner is actually still there but wrinkled a bit... might be fixable.... i would consider this rig not for restoration but can be keep looking decent and on the road. I wouldn't put a lot of money into it. It's a lot easier than doing a diesel conversion. Would be a good machine to modify.... original diesel 40 for 4k? If i get it to CA I could probably get 55-6k with no work. It seem like it would go a distance. The tires are great. The PO told me it needs front pads. It has a small exhaust leak at the manifold that is most likely just the gasket. I may have to leave it there for a while so if you are serious then
