The rear antenna mounts was my first FJ80 design and has been a favorite here on Mud so as the saying goes...

Anxiously waiting! Have you considered producing a light bar mount that attaches to the inside of the door jam on the a-pillar? It would be used to mount a ~50" light bar without having a roof rack.

That's exactly what's keeping away from those light bars right now. The lack of a better mounting option.

just wait for the surprise. just for what its worth...I have had better results putting 4 10" lights than 1 50" lightbar. better light position.
also more light where you need it rather than light where they think you need them.

I recently bought a 2000 UZJ100 so I need rear mounts for sure- I will do a Group Buy feeler and gauge the interest

once you get bright lights it's hard to go dimmer! I just meant since mine were one of the original ones...i wanted to buy the updated ones....Frank has spent a lot of time on these brackets!!! I have one of the many prototypes that were going through the preproduction stage!

Where could I find the flat electrical wire in the picture above. I am running Rigids with original round wire and they are starting to rub through the housing where the tail hatch and the rear fenders meet.

Sounds like drilling the sheet metal would be required. Just buy two gutter mount brackets, mount them as far forward as you can, and attach light to that.

The problem is that they don't make specific light bar gutter mounts. I've checked. If you know of someone/somewhere that carries them id love to know.

Here is on example I found after only a min or so of searching. This would work on the 80 with the right width light bar.
