Recently I changed out the rear shocks on my truck and noticed that the lower shock mounts had taken some rock hits. I have always thought the mounts seemed vulnerable hanging so low, so I put together some simple guards to protect the bolt and lower shock end.

I made a few sets to start and will make more if there is enough interest.

$30 shipped per set unpainted - send me a private message if you want a set and I will send you my paypal address.

Look what arrived?! Christmas early?
These things are so much more beefier than i would've imagined... Can't wait to abuse these things this coming weekend at Morris Mountain... Almost no need in saying "I'll post back the results".... BUT I WILL! Thanks for an awesome product!

good grief, those are beefy. What is the material?

the tube is 2" pipe - so it is .15" thick. The plate in the middle is 1/8". I have experimented with a couple of different plate sizes, and the 1/8" seemed like the best fit to me since it is nearly the same size as the pipe and allows more thread engagement with the original bolt.

nice!

Btw, sorry Matt for throwing up on your thread.
