Can someone tell me if there was ever a pickup version of the 80 series (stateside or otherwise)? If so, what years and what configurations? Can someone point me to some photos please.

If no 80 series pickup, what models were offered in a pickup version? I hope this is not getting too far off-topic.

Thanks!

Yes, but that was custom made by Slee and IRBIS offroad

Thanks XT1, but I'm looking for an LC that was originally offered as a pickup. I think I've seen something that looked like an FJ40 but with a truck bed in the rear. I was just curious if the 80 was ever offered in that setup, and if not, what other FJ products had a truck bed or cab/chassis setup originally from Mr. T?

Thanks (and glad to see March 10 works for you at Flat Nasty).

THe 70 series was offered as a pickup, but nothing after that unless you want one built by Podvin or Slee.

There used to be an 80 series in the members rigs section that was turned into a pickup. Dunno if it is still there though

It's not a full 80 series but the specs look close

Why Toyota won't export the really cool stuff to the US is mind boggling.

Also extremelly frustrating..................... :crybaby:  :crybaby:

Geeze... Love it.

Mot - Can you send me one?

I think I've got a couple left in my warehouse.

Which color do you want?

I'll PM you my Nigerian bank account info in a sec.

Mot:grinpimp:

Put me down for the Muster with all the whistles and bells.

Since they are only going to build 300 of them would it be a problem getting the steering wheel and all the gauges installed on the left hand side of the vehicle?

I have the cash in hand to send the Nigeria. Do you think they will get suspicious that it was printed by Parker Brother and it has Monopoly printed on it?

Mot- Does this mean part numbers are available for these ?

I'd like to do this to my 80.......would be nice if I could actually buy parts.

There are companies in Australia that do conversions.

Thanks for the info - but it looks as though I won't be able to find a pickup version of an 80 in the states (the Australian conversion looks awesom).

Given that, version were availabe in the states? It looks like the FJ45 and some version of the 70 series had pickup options, but were these in the states? Any others?
