I've lost a clamshell to column screw and I recall they are two different lengths. Can anyone post up a pic of the difference between them and which one goes into which hole? Thanks in advance!!

Turns out the screws are the same length. Here's the bolt info: 4mm diameter x 8mm long with a .70 pitch.

thanks for posting - the clamshell screws on our 80 are AWOL and I need to order new ones

and yes, the third one is shorter

I thought there were 4x around the perimeter, maybe it's just 3x and 1x of those are shorter due to the shape. I recall those as being an aggressive sheet-metal style thread that goes right into the plastic.

The 2x affixing the shell to the steering column appear to be the same from some reference pics I've seen and they are machine thread.

2 long machine thread, 1 shorter

there are two trim screws (into plastic) involved as well

Thanks for clarifying that, do you happen to know where the short machine thread screw goes?

IIRC that's the middle one
