I already did two group buys of bushings - one group of fronts and one group of rears:eek:

I had to special order them all but, as murf said, they were in the next day. There must be a warehouse full of them in LA:hmm:

Group buy on bushing? Does Murf have the inventory to support our needs?

I don't see any reason why CBT doesn't want to sell up to 14 sets of bushings.

No problem! Looks like there is enough interest, so group buy pricing :bounce::

Front control arm bushings (4 total ) 48702-60050 = $30.97 ea
Front control arm bushings (rear of arm) (2 total) = $31.43 ea
(plus tax of course)

JJ Garcia was just here picking up his new-to-him LX470 and says his press and bushing tools are ready to help!

Medtro, can you help determine how many total bushings will be needed and I will order them up ~

If anyone wants my caster correction plates you can buy mine
I am going a different direction with my rig
Let me know if anyone is interested sounds like they will be available to pick up at tomorrows meeting
You can pay me thru PayPal if interested

Sent from my iPad using IH8MUD

How about it JJ a group bushing press in party to add to the group buy caster plates and group buy bushings. The guys that put on the group buy caster correction plate buy will pay for the party and your time.

Group buy usually implies a better price. Murf already gives us a really good price, so it might be polite to ask him if a group buy is feasable. Maybe he could deliver them at the club meeting?

I know about the discount that we are getting from CBT so I was not expecting better price on bushings for group buy. Thanks murf for throwing in the extra discount.

Jackson,
Not sure what the new meeting format is going to be, but I’ve got a date with my wife tonight and will not be able to stick around that long. Would it be possible to meet and pick up the plates at the beginning of the meeting? I’ll be picking up for me and Brit.
Thanks,
Pete.

Cook,
If this helps the June meeting agenda is outlined in the first post of the CSC June Meeting Agenda 6.12.13<link thread

We saw HP gains testing with our design, but nice of you to offer:cool:

Could you share how you seen a "HP gain" from correcting castor? I can see how the targeted front point of the toe is placed in the proper position when the castor is corrected reducing any friction but HP gain is a puzzle to me. Can you elaborate? Also a post on the main board on how this is accomplished would be a huge jump in the orders on your design.

Really a mute point at this time because it was a limited production run. Other 80 owners that have driven my 80 immediately noticed a seat of the pants feel in performance. Feel free to stop by anytime and take it for a drive. Be warned you may want to sell yours after.:flipoff2:

It's true Phil, your truck does drive superbly. I hope my rig drives that nice after I go part time and install plates.

My rig drives faster just thinking about having something from Metro/Phil attached to its nether regions.:flipoff2:x21

Never mind! My lovely wife has arranged for a later date night. I'll still need to hit the road right after the meetings so if possible I'd like to meet up right before the meeting.
Thanks,
Pete.

Guess it depends what the "HP" stands for :hmm:

I was told they would also give me extra vitality and brighter eyes - still waiting for that....:hillbilly:

Now that the production run is finished, what are the plans for the CAD file?

Well crap, I missed out on another cool group buy.
