Two adults can fit in the RTT very comfortably. It's about the size of a Queen Size bed. You could probably squeeze a small child in it too.
Nice 80. Is your Columbus RTT a small or a medium? Are your Thule bars 58"?

Thule bars are 62 inches. Columbus is a Medium.
Thule bars are a little wider than normal to accommodate the Foxwing awning.

I like the mattress. It's firm but comfortable. Not at all like a wrestling mat. Feels like a real mattress. I was sleeping on it last night, in fact. In spite of lots of old bones, I got a good night's sleep and no aches or pains.
Nice build and tent! Somehow I missed the Columbus tents when I was looking. My tent if you're interested. How's your mattress? My CVT's is like a wresting mat - even double thick. I'm on the lookout for a down mattress topper to soften it up. Was suggested by mcgaskins, mudder out of Denver.
any more info on that hot water set up...looks like a pretty simple set up and seems really convenient
