We got home a few hours ago. What a blast we had! Thank you to all the vendors and especially Chris and Stan. You guys all rock!

I got some fantastic drone footage this weekend. I'll be posting short clips on my instagram @Owl_Expedition for now, so follow me to check it out! I will also put together a full video in the coming weeks and a lot of you will be featured, so you wont want to miss it.

It was awesome meeting so many of you. Cant wait till next year!

Left Silverton around noon today had lunch in Durango and now doing laundry at 4J in Ouray. My daughter Jess and I had an incredible time so a huge thanks to all the volunteers in addition to Stan and Chris! The raffle was insane and even though we didn't win anything we'll be heading back to Boston with a huge grin on our faces and a ton of great memories!

Special shout out to Mark, B-rad, and Andy who guided this newbie through Clear Lake, Alpine Loop, and Black Bear flawlessly over the 3 days. I'm in awe of how capable a stock LC is. For those other newbies on the fence of doing this event next year Just Do It!

Hey B., We are in ouray as well, what are you guys doing tomorrow?

Had an amazing time. Made it to AZ then home tomorrow. Had a great time hanging and wheeling with @Ed of house LX470 @aaronrules @RND1 @Ice cold @CreasyBear @Aron @od4x4 . Had a great time on the trails lead by Josh and @nakman. Can't wait for next year.

My kids had more fun than any adult possibly could. This is definitely a family friendly event.

Did Black Bear pass for the first time today with @paflytyer as trail lead. It was fantastic! Then we grouped with @bluecruiser and couple other truck to do Imogene. That was blast! Then on the way down from a little neat trail, I hit a rock (that was totally out of the way) and blew my right rear tire. In a horrible part of the trail. Facing downhill with the truck leaning towards the blown tire.

I was third from last in line (I think) with Stan as tail gunner. Stan and Neal (I don't know your handle) jumped right on in. @benc reversed it up the trail to come with an impact to help make it faster. I was trying to get in there, but being great guys, Stan, Neal and Ben basically took charge. Got the tire changed and on the way!

My 20 ton bottle jack TOTALLY CAME IN HANDY!!!! So Oliver (@CreasyBear) , Edward (@Ed of house LX470), Matt (@mattafact) and all you other guys giving me crap for all the stuff I had in my drawer can suck it! LOL

So we are going to be headed to Montrose for the night tomorrow. Anybody know a good tire place there? Or anywhere between Silverton and there? Gotta get another KO2 mounted and balanced since we have a lot of miles still left, and I would like a spare.

Hey @aaronrules, sorry this happened, glad you and your family are okay. we are in Ouray until thursday and RND 1 is staying at 4J in ouray as well, let me know if you need any help. A big lol on the jack, glad it came in handy. Yes, I saw all of the stuff in that drawer and glad you were well prepared.

Try calling Standard Tire in Montrose, looks like they carry BFG's. 970-249-2461. Again, let me know if you need help.

I may also be needing heavy duty springs before heading home. Did I see something somewhere about using pull offs from Tundras or something? I'd drive to Slee if it wasn't 6 hours away to get springs from him.

Why not get the Airlift bags sent to your hotel via Amazon? Only takes a couple hours to install and you already have a jack with sufficient capacity.

Looks like Standard is a full service shop, they may have them.

Sorry just seeing this now - we're having breakfast at roast and toast then heading to Crested Butte over the pass to Aspen

Keep us posted on the pass from Crested Butte to Aspen. I'm headed up there in 2 weeks and am very curious about it's status. Thanks

Cmon Aaron we know you went out of your way to hit that rock just so you could use that 20 ton beast hahaha!

Glad to hear that you got the spare on - we're leaving Ouray heading to montrose about 10am if you need any help

Just a quick shout out to all the guys I was able to wheel with - have to meet more of you next year :)

Matt - thx for all the laughs and looks like Jess and Kelly will be digital pen pals. Edward find me your twin LX and I'll fly out to TX to visit. Aaron I'm not much of a fisherman but next time I'd like some fly fishing tips from you or at least how to build and pack Kiss drawers :)

Oliver thx for showing us how Kiss drawers are supposed to be built and packed hope Maddy moo had fun?! Connor and Kevin congrats on winning front bumpers - post pics when those bad boys are on. Cliff I can't wait to retire and become you.

Blake and Blair keep those minty smoky topaz LXs I've never seen that color in person before this event. Duncan, good luck on the driveshaft repair you and maxse01 will get nothing but good karma next year!

Chris thx for encouraging us to do the alpine loop it turned out to be our favorite trail day. Sabastain and tiera had fun w you guys on Black Bear seeing that minty Gold LX laugh at all the obstacles. And will and Linda for giving us some other cool sites to see in CO before heading back to Boston. Hope to have a beer w you guys in Fort Collins!

@RND1 dude I think you might have been the most positive person there! It was really great getting know you. I think we might have a little bit of a crew going on between a handful of us you included. Next year when we all come back, we need to coordinate at least a couple trail days.

What Sam said. Had a blast this year, I hate I had to bail out a day early. Thanks to Stan, Chris, and all the others for all the hard work. See you guys next year.
And you finally won something in the raffle!

I only got a day and a half in the event this year and it was still worth the 8 hour drive each way. Great to meet some new faces and see the new facilities. Hopefully our newborn will be up for some light wheeling next year and it'll be a family event for us instead of just our dog and I.

On top of the already sweet event I scored a rear bumper from Mike at BIOR in the raffle. Talk about icing on the cake! The other rear bumper winner was a fellow convoy driver from our trip up last year through AZ. It's really neat to see people year after year and recognize folks.

Stan and Chris you guys did an awesome job, as always. I hope you were able to pay yourselves at least a little after all your work this year. You certainly deserve it.

Oh, and of course... WHERE'S OUR BANNER?!
