I'll wish him "Good Luck"

Agreed. No offense mean to him but he's about to get a quick lesson in the difference between what he "wants" and what people are willing to pay. ;)

I have received many call about this vehicle. I would like for those interested to check out a few of these other web site to get to know a little about the history of the Land Cruiser and what they are selling for and what they are worth This vehicle is a antique and a collectors item. So please visit these web sites and feel free to call me with any other questions that I might be able to help you with. Vintageoffroad.com / coolcruisers.com / cruisers.com / tlc4x4.com

My reserve price is $16,000.00 I know it seems to be alot but, I actually have close to $20,000.00 in this vehicle. I have seen some of these vehicles that are restored sell for over $40,000.00. I am going to take a loss but, I need to sell it.

LOL. Does the house in the backgound come with the 16k price?:D

Notice he didn't mention going on Mud and asking what people thought it might be worth?

If he get's it, I'll send him mine to sell and give him a big fat commission check too!!

Steenh and Trollhole, I couldn't agree more...

Jesus, when I first read this I thought Trollhole was selling.

Man, I wish I had a professionally installed "coil over" lift on my 40. If I did, I would probably remove the leaf springs though....

LOL - Does anyone believe in proofreading anything anymore? There are so many grammar and other mistakes in that description it is no wonder people think everyone from Our Great State is a moron.

Just so you know, Vintage Offroad/Greg Mushro is a crook. I learned the hard way. I've been to TLC in Van Nuys and got to take the tour with Johnathan around his shop (he's a real cool dude). TLC's Cruisers are nicer than brand new 100 series fresh off the boat from Japan. TLC's work is phenomenal and his prices reflect that, besides he's in SoCal with the highest number of the top 1%. CoolCruisers are Ok, but for the price TLC is 10Xbetter.

Keep in mind TLC and CoolCruiser Cruisers are sold in much different condition.

You could just pull a Mushro, cover it with bondo and real cheap paint, armorall the engine compartment then tell folks it's completely restored with no rust, a rebuilt engine and just like new.

Good luck.

if it's true then that's sad to know about vintageoffroad, when I was researching and inquiring about FJ's last year, I spoke with Greg over the phone a few times and he seemed pretty straight up, I guess you never know.....

I can't speak from personal experience but from what I've seen, the prevalent sentiment here on mud is very similar to that stated above by LukeO.

check out the vintage offroad thread on the big ship (IH8MUD)...basically backs up everyones thoughts here on Vintage Off Road and Greg....wow, glad I didn't buy from him!!
