'79 B Motor Water pump w Fan Clutch - discontinued - HELP!

I have a BJ 40 , w '79 Motor. Any one have experience with substituting a NON Fan Clutch water pump for an original ( leaking) water pump WITH Fan Clutch ??? The original is apparently discontinued. Anyone know of a source?

It would seem that the length of the water pump shaft that the fan fits on would be shorter with the NON Fan Clutch water pump, thus making it further from the radiator, and leading to possible overheating.

I have found the NON Fan Clutch water pump replacement at SOR , in stock ... but will installing it make the motor overheat?
Any words of advice are welcome , Thanks and Aloha !

I havent done it, but I think the overall length will be the same. AFAIK , the radiators are all mounted in the same position, so they need the distance between fan and radiator to be constant

It wont overheat, the fixed fan models just chewed a bit more juice because they are running all the time. You wont notice it.
