If it is running out of fuel at low rpm, then the fuel level on sightglass immediately after engine dies will be off the bottom of the glass.
If fuel level is visible on the glass, the engine will run.

Jay, working on getting it through the wash & dry cycle.
Blame the delay on petersons carb, w/ it's intermittent fuel sag at the top of the transition circuit, even after upsizing both pri. jets multiple times....
Sorry, I digress.

what in the hell....

Hey there- New fuel pump finally arrived-installed same evening.Unfortunately,there is no change in condition- flat out will not idle w/ out choke. I tried the Oklahoma rebuild trick repeatedly w/ no sucess.I adjusted the idle a little , but saw no change and bagged it for the evening. I have received several reccomendations re. local mechanics,and will proly trailer her to someone shortly.(come on stimulus check!) I never have gotten a "spray"of fuel in carb,more of a dribble and feel thearin lies the problem. If vac lines are correct, ics is new,timing was ok before,know fuel pump is good,and carb adjustment is within reason.....I'm not sure what my point was there, just kind of naming off stuff. Ah- well-I would welcome any suggestions, as I cant take her to shop until I procure funds. Thanks- Paul
