For Sale 77 FJ40

I purchased this truck from CCOT in 1996. I have put 8000 mile on it since I've owned it and only 4000 miles since an engine rebuild in 1998! No rust and no leaks! Paint shows better in the photos than it really is but it is very presentable. Emission control equipment has been removed. Upgraded ignition system along with a mag pulse distributer and two stage Weber carb. Old Man EMU shocks and new springs. Stock and tube bumpers front and rear. Options from CCOT were power steering, carpet, new cooling system and CCOT under carriage splash shield. This truck is not perfect, buts its one hell of a nice, mostly original, rig.

Can you post pics of under carriage? What is the issue with the paint? Is it the original motor?

I will try to post some under carriage photos tomorrow. I don't have a lift and need a wide angle lens. The 2f is original to truck as far as I know. I have never changed it, its what CCOT sent it out with. I can check the engine if I can find the #. No real issues with the paint, it just looks like 18 yr. old paint. It shines but has chips and dings - its not fresh. I could have it re-sprayed and ask for more like many would - but what is the point. Its a driver and not a show vehicle. Brand new paint is always a red flag in my book - so is spray in bed liner - been seeing a lot of that online recently.

I'm astonished that this hasn't been bought. To find any cruiser that is rust free with PS, beautiful interior and previously total restoration is just darn near impossible. I feel fairly priced also, someone needs to pick this up!
