1977 FJ40. It has seen better days. It does not have any doors or seats. The hard top is from a 1970 so it doesn't fit correctly. The rain gutter has some rust on the inside, but may be salvageable. The body is junk. The gas tank leaks. Believe it or not, it does run. The roll bar is in pieces in the back. The frame is marginal. It has a good disc brake front axle. It's located in Southern NH right off exit 3 on Rte. 95. $500 takes it.

No dibs. You're in LA, this 40 is in NH. It will cost at least a $1,000 to ship it to you. Save your money and buy one closer. This one is not worth it.

How is the body junk? I was going to try and fix one that looks worse than that.

The floor boards are gone, even part of the tranny hump is rusted. The front bib and windshield frame are bad too. The rockers were replaced with steel, that's why they look OK.

This is what I have to deal with.

Tub is welded on with 1/4 plates to the only good metal left. The cowl is decent but needs everything. I might just try to make a 1/8 tub since they are hard to come by in decent shape for cheap.

I looked at this one about 6 months ago. He is a nice guy. He doesn't have the gas tank hooked up but we did get it started with some starting fluid. He thought it was a 78 but i found out it was a june 76. I would have bought but it was to expensive to ship.

bump for descriptive ad and what looks like a good deal for the right buyer

Do you have the title ?

He told me there is no title for vehicles after a certian age in NH.

Correct. You don't need a title for vehicles that are more than 20 years old in NH.
