I'm looking for a replacement stiffener for the L-shaped, flanged, cross piece immediately forward of the wheel arch. It's the largest one under the floor, at the transition from the lower front floor to the upper rear. Ideally, I'd like a new part, unless someone has a tub they're willing to cut up.

Has anyone found a source for individual body stiffeners for the floor? Topnault lists floor pans, but has no photos of the underside. I've tried to discuss this with them in the past, but they can't seem to be interested. If the plant they're buying from is really making part for part reproductions, they have this part, it's a required component for a complete assembly.

To streamline this thread, I am not
a) looking for alternatives (I know what they are)
b) looking for someone to fabricate a custom shape ( I know any sheetmetal shop can, given the specs) - I may have to do that, but I'd rather not, if I don't have to.

Here's the offending part:

Well, fudge.

Tha original design was a series of bent sheet metal pieces strategically assembled. It is the main beam/body mount of the tub. I replaced mine in a non stk, very solid fashion.

Got mine from CCOT. Fit nicely with very little modification needed.
