I clicked on the link thinking I would see some trick engine conversion, suspension, and restoration. Nice drivers side rocker panel.

Yeah, this one has been floating around craigslist for a while...
When I first saw the ad, I thought he added an extra number on accident.

I emailed him and asked if he mistyped and put two 1's instead of one. I was serious. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass. He never responded.
 
He respnded to me. He told me that they were rare and that is why he listed as he did. I told him I thought his price was too high and wished him well on his sale. He sent me an email back asking me what I thought was fair so I gave him some samples. The front fenders look decent in the photos but the rear wheel wells are terrible. I'm only going to assume the worst and assume that it worse than it is in the photos.

Well, I'm off to the auto parts store to buy some rust-fixing wax!

Seriously though, he dropped the price to $9700 but it's no reserve so at least he's come to his senses.
 
I actually got the guy to call me back to check and see if there was a typo on his craigslist posting, nope he said 12,900 yall are right this should make my 69 rust worth 5 grand more and the wax should do for a new paint job
 
I bet his wife is forcing him to sell it and he's pricing it so he'll be able to keep it forever
