How are the bases? That's the most important part of these as the bases are '55 specific. The rest of the light is the same as a '40 series.

many won't let you since it's a hazard. that said, i've done it, but it took a lot of rinsing to get the fumes completely out. plus, sat out in the sun, with all the ports open for about a week, constantly spraying inside with fabreeze


also, looking for the left inner floor vent thingy with the pull rod, all in functioning condition (the plastic vent near top of the inner kick panel). let me know price with shipping to 80022. thanks

I took these off. The bases are in super shape. One bolt was a bitch and not workable. But like you say, the bases are the key piece, and they are in great shape. The lights themselves work and look average.

Sooo, I'll take $50.00 shipped for the set. Both bases are good, one lights mounting bolt is no good,(rusted) and will need to be replaced. One mounting plate is cut up a bit (dremmel) on the inside from trying to remove it (bolt). So your getting one good complete setup, and one not so good (but with a good base).

so where does it stand now? i see you have the pair of mirrors priced in one thread and say drivers is spoken for. Have you sold these to someone else instead???

As far as the smog stuff, it was disabled, but appears to be all there.

I would need to have a specific list with pics of what smog stuff you want.

Rear Seat belts are good. $35.00 and I will throw them in the box with the rest of the stuff. btw, I should be pulling the steering stuff today / tomorrow. I needed to move it to its final resting place.
