I do understand a circuit diagram, but this drives me nuts and need some advice.
obviously the big wire direct from the battery,
the 12 gauge or perhaps 10 Black/White tracer from the ignition switch
but then I have this Black/Yellow from the starter to the coil. Although I this case it starts as a10ga Yellow/Green with a butt splice to a 16ga? Black with red, a connector and then finally the Black/Yellow into the harness, you can see it wraps around the harness.
the diagram shows it coming from Coil + after the ballast resistor. It’s purpose looks to be to give +12v to the coil while the starter is turning over, do I have that right?
Question is what gauge wire should this be?
