75 battery tray holder hates my 76 tub!

Was there some huge change I am unaware of, as I can't figure out how to mount the tray mount! I can see how the F it goes in there. Did it move in 76 or something? Anyone have a photo or can you snap one?

AFAIK the lower mount that goes on the frame is the same thru out the years, I put a later one on my 65, but is this going in with a V-8? you might have trouble

according to SOR it's the same 58-79

no pics handy right now. Is this on a V8? could you have covered up a few of the threaded holes with a motor mount plate?

It just bolts onto the inside of the frame and on top, maybe 5 bolts, the holes are/should be there.

There is a 79 and later one for FJ40s that came with factory air. Think it moves the battery back alittle but not sure.

That's what I was missing...bolts to frame. Dunno why I thought it was the fender or fender well? Duh...sorry. Now gotta figure which bolts to use....
