SOLD SOLD Now on EVILBay ... I was going to build this one ratrod style, leave it 1.5 F (F motor but with 2F oiling system), J30 three speed, open diffs, manual steering, bias tires on white spokes, old skool cool, but I have way too many projects and will never get to it. It would make a great base for a buggy too.
Just so we’re clear, this rig needs lots of attention from the mechanicals to wiring to bodywork. Not running, but the engine turns easily by hand. Parts included:
Title is clear in my name and matches frame number, production date September or October of 1973 (memory escapes at the moment); it’s more 1973 than 1974. I want to see this truck go to a good home so please ask questions and I’ll give you straight, complete answers. SOLD for the truck and parts listed above (not including the SM465 or 2F valve cover of course). SOLD I saw a Jeep in worse condition go for that recently ... and we all know an FJ40 is better than a Jeep, come on!
I welcome comments, but please, keep it positive. More pics will follow. This truck is rough, but I think it deserves saving.

- Two additional 3 speed type transfer cases (the one in the truck is broken) to build one good case from
- Two additional J30s (the one in the truck is good) for extra parts
- And I will work with you to make a package deal if I have other parts you want (for example I have an SM465 sporting 6.58:1 First gear, 2F valve cover, etc.)
