I have been able to get the motor onto the Firestein Mounts and into the front end, but a couple of weeks ago I got hit on my bike and cannot use my left arm (broken collarbone). So this has got to go.
1973 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40
Carburated 350 engine and Turbo 350 Tranny
Body is solid, only small spots in the regular areas, nothing major
Frame is completely solid
Glass is good, tires are good (31's I believe)
The only top I have is a Bikini, it's very rough, but I do have a soft top frame, just not the canvas.
Engine came from an 84 GMC 3/4 ton van, ran fine as I drove the van an hour from it's location to my house for the install. No problems with the engine or transmission.
HERE'S WHAT IT NEEDS: Radiator, Radiator Fan, Exhaust (From Manifold Back), Transmission mount, and an adapter from the T350 to the Transfer Case (original FJ transfer case included with vehicle).
I have a brand new battery, I recommend new wires and fluids, I also have a Haynes manual and a Downey catalog that will accompany the vehicle.
THE VEHICLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED, I am not willing to part out.
I am open to trades. In particular, Toyota 4X4's Ext Cab or 4Runner that are reliable. As I have just lost my motorcycle, have a shattered left collarbone, I cannot trade for something that needs too much attention.
I have 4500 into this project, I am only asking 2700 to take it away.
Call me direct for offers or trades, I don't get to type very much, only one hand is mobile enough to type (this post is very tough).
