I am needing some clarification. Below is a snapshot of the rubber plugs that insert into the spring. To me it looks like they go into the body of the Master Cylinder, however when I pulled apart the BMC I bought used, the plug was against the "bolt" side, not inserting into the cylinder first. It's been a long time since I've rebuilt one and want to make sure I do it right the first time. Any input/advice is more than welcome.

That seems like the appropriate name for them but the calls them plugs. I just finished assembling it. I put the plugs in first because it makes sense to me - in order for there to pressure in the lines. Below is the full image from the manual.

Used parts - could have been "monkeyed with"
Thanks. The FSM diagram certainly is deceiving. I’ll switch the location of the plug.
