The dash pad cover wasn't to bed but the mice destroyed the foam inside, and I had to replace a piece of sheet metal do to rust and fill the inside with spray foam.

Some black vinil paint and a plastic cap to cover the hole on the top made by Po looks decent.

With the truck sitting in the garage finished for two months I didn't like how high the spare tire mounts on the back so decided to do something different.

I build the rack for the spare with some tubbing from an old roll cage, using existing holes and can be removed by loosing four screws.

I like the motorcycle radio idea, makes sense, and, how you hid it ... out of sight, and one less temptation for a would be thief ... I may use that idea, myself ... thank you ... oh, by the way, nice Mini ... looks like a Cooper S ...

Notice in the back I got a1985 60 for parts. Will post again in the summer with top off.

I just so happen to have a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment above my detached garage that you could stay in here in sunny central Florida for, oh i dont know, like a year, rent free as long as you spend some time with my 40 build...
Seriously though, you are talented and i enjoyed your build thread.

Did you say “central Florida”? Is that a threat? I spent a year in Gainesville, it was the longest six months of my life. All kidding aside, this is nice build. Kiddos...

I was just browsing your thread and saw that you used my hinges. That’s cool to see them on such a nicely rebuilt 40.
I did use your hinges they work great when changing from full doors to half doors for the summer
Great product.

Thanks
Just found this one out side of the barn,it's at my house waiting for me to getup one day and dig into it .
This 71 needs lots of sheet metal to bring it backu to life but with little patience I think it's doable.
If anybody has a tub or half tub and rear low barn doors taking space in they're garage in New England or close I will be interested, and a decent frame don't need title.
