70 series snorkels

Hey guys just looking for a bitta help is the front end on most 70 series the same and would the snorkels be interchangeable for instance would a newer 75-79 snorkel fit on a bj71

The sheet metal will be the same up through 2006, the only fitment differences I can think of would be folding vs. fixed windshield and engine/airbox differences.

Cheers but do you reckon the newer snorkel would form to the fender shape of the '87

I really couldn't say, I don't have any experience with the newer style of front end. I've only ever seen two of them in person.

I would say no on a wide nose snorkel, some have been able to massage a wide nose snorkel on a LJ due to the upper fender being wider than a narrow nose

Fenders/guards changed from 2006 on, and so did snorkels.

A BJ71 would be a narrow nose, pre-2006. Therefore, it would not be possible to use a newer model snorkel.
