I'm looking for photos of 70 Series OEM skid plates (both manual and automatic transmission). Any 70 Series
would be suitable.
....Thanks

They are not really skid plates, right? I have this two section plate on mine. Had to remove one section when I did my radiator change last weekend.

My 77 Series has two drive train skid plates (Transmission & transfer case) and both were fabricated from plastic. The skid plate (again plastic) that protects the bottom side of the factory winch also provides some protection to the underside of the radiator.
I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that when dealing with the 70 Series one size fits all and the only difference is the location of the cutouts that allow access to the various drain plugs. Hopefully the photos will clarify this.
Thanks

Odd...the one I have that protects the radiator is metal.

Charles,
I thought that there were a few shops making custom skid plates for 40/60/70 that bolted up like factory but were fabricated out of 1/8" or 3/16" sheet rather than lighter gauge which factory plates were made out of. However, I can't find the shops that listed them for BJ70 and BJ74 trucks, which might not be viable for your 77.
Have you called around like to Cruisin Off Road - Skid Plates
In case they have templates to build them but don't list them on the website.

As an additional option. have you considered pulling your factory plate and sending it to a fabricator to use as a template to fabricate a structurally sound plate out of thicker material?

Good luck. Sorry that I am not being of better help.

I'll send you some tomorrow

If I'm not pressing my luck can y'all add a tape measure to the photo so I can get a sense of dimensions.
Thanks...

Ive got my stock steel skid plate and the one I bought from Jason at Cruisin OffRoad on my back deck. I'll take picture of them in the day light.

LDowney, Cruisin OffRoad does have the templates and does fabricate and sell skid plates and sliders that are specific to the HZJ77. He also did a top notch job on mine!

My PZJ77 only came with a small protector for the transfer case, nothing under the transmission, and the plastic cover under the radiator.

Let me know if you need someone to test fit on a PZJ77.
