Guys I really appreciate the replies. Obviously there are a lot of options to consider.
Thanks
Garage door clearance is also an issue. I need to do some measuring when I get home.

Yea, once the RTT is on, there is no hope of getting back into the garage.

It's estimated that with the new Terrain Tamer suspension and 33x10.50R15 tires, the vehicle height will be approximately 6'-5" so we don't have a lot of wiggle room.

That is definitely an Abbaworks rack. The only thing I do not like about that version is its attachment method. I do not believe the FRP top rails are up to the task. I mounted my Abbaworks rack using Thule artificial rain gutter mounts.

Dan, Do you have a rear ladder to access to roof rack?

Abbaworks is a defunct company?

How did you attach the thule pieces? The pieces I saw online mounted in two holes per bracket. It seems to me that 8 drilled holes would be weaker than the factory gutters. The FRP top isn't all that thick and I'd be worried about stressing it away from its main structural components.

8mm steel nutserts in the roof.

My rails were damaged by gutter mounts and one of them was very difficult to repair.

Who said I use it? :)

I do have my radio antenna mounted up there.....:hillbilly:

Trailer looks like a swiss army knife..

That is a Kimberley Kamper out of Australia.

Maybe I should paint it red?:hmm:

Actually it is not. It is an export trailer that is set up for the LHD market. The drawers and the annex deploy to the right side. RHD market trailers have the drawers and annex deploy to the left. I think there are a dozen or so LHD trailers over here and maybe another half dozen that are RHD configured private imports.

Wow .... I was just trying to be a smartass and low and behold you provide a real, logical answer. :)

And here I thought you were aware that RHD trailers existed......

Don't feel bad, you're not alone. First I heard of Dan's "Kimber" I thought he had one of these....

Like your beloved Garands, not all good ones are Colts ...

Wilsons don't suck ;) Especially compared with contemporary Colts ....
