Hi I am selling a 70 series pu project that I picked up a while ago.It was a complete cruiser at one point in time build by a custom shop in France that had build a few of these. The po drove the Cruiser for a few years until the "custom car reglementations "changed in his country and he was no longer able to get it inspected.Unfortunatly he had already stripped the car before I could get my hands on it and already sold a few of the parts.

Here is how the truck looked like before

I have the extended 80 series frame and the cab here in the US,the frame is extended in the middle and has a long range fuel tank in it.

The front clip with the wider fenders was already sold but I have a BJ/HZJ front clip with fiberglass fenders that can go with it.

The interior is completely stripped but I can either provide plenty of spare interior parts or for the right buyer I am willing to take of the complete body with wiring harness of a LJ73 that I have here at the shop.

I know this is not a project for the faint of heart but as you can see of what it looked like this is a badass truck and it combines the classic looks of the 70 with the comfort of the 80 series.

I know everybody likes to get a price so here are some prices

Cab with frame (including the wiring harness )3500$

front clip (2 fiberglass fender with inner fender, hood, grill and valance) 1000$

All interior parts to finish the cab 750$

LJ73 body with interior parts including this wiring harness (NO FRP TOP)1500$

This truck had a 1HDT FT in it with the H151 tranny so the engine and tranny mounts are setup for that and also the wiring harness.

There is some rust where they put the body together and used bondo to finish it.

It is hard for me to take additional pictures since the body sit in the corner of my driveway and is still filled up with the stuff I put in there last year when I shipped it over (no time to unload it yet.)

Again this is not for everyone but if you are looking for a 70 series pick up you already figured out they are not easy to get and this way you can build it exactly the way you want it without braking the bank if you use an existing 80 series donor.

interested in the cab and frame. Any axles and/or suspension available to go with it?

I have a rear sf 80 axle that I can mount under it and am in the process of rebuilding an 80 series axle front axle for my 80/45 project so once that is done I will have a spare front axle and can turn it in to a rolling chassis.

I also have 2 crusty Elocked 80 series axles that can go with it,front axle is rhd so that housing will need to be swapped with a lhd

What an awesome kit/project, I think that would be a dream cruiser!!! Too bad I haven't the room or funds to play....:bang:

I think this is one of those "once in a lifetime deals" and unfortunately I already have a 80 series chassis /Aqualu 45 cab project going and had to choose one.

The 45 being a convertible plus the fact that I invested a lot more $$$ and time in it so far has won the debate.

I had to choose one.

Freakin' amateur.....

One??

Here, you string us along like crackheads, fuzzying our brains ability to rationalize, getting us in deep into MULTIPLE new addictions......

And you 'had to choose one'?

What an awesome project,

perfect for someone that had:

a mechanically sound 80 drivetrain with re freshened FZ, solid A343F, crawler gears in completely rebuilt TC, sitting in a rolled body on completely rebuilt axles with 5.29 e locked axles.

OR

a 'built' FZ with an H151F/HF1A and ECU/harness FROM an FZJ75, which this essentially is.

OR

a loose HZ with H150F/HF1A ready to have two two wires connected to make it go.

OR

a mental problem. Undeniably commit-able, since 'professional' at juggling MULTIPLE builds, with the assistance like this lister.....while, unlike this lister, COMPLETELY LACKING the ability to say that 'I had to choose one'.....

'In another moment, downward pushed was the unsuspecting Delancy, by Joe, never once considering how Delancy would ever get back out, again....'

Can I add to this that I will sell it with free delivery to Tulsa

And yes I had to choose one !

1 pickup,1 crawler,1 HZJ73,1 LJ73 and 1 of whatever I find next

Come on you know you need it ;-)

C'mon Delancy, what's one more project?

Can I add to this that I will pick up the LX450, move the drivetrain and axles over to the half assed 75 chassis completing to a roller, then deliver to Tulsa free?

NOW my curiosity is piqued.....

C'mon Delancy, what's one more project?

Prolly just a Louis Vuitton.....

I can't afford a homecoming for 'all in the family' as it is.....

Have to systematically rotate them in and out for whatever varying work is necessary, wherever, so that they're never all simultaneously visible.

Might be easier to have one mistress, I dunno.

Great deal ! I could finish building my shop or buy this ?

What should i do ?

Mr D who did you payed and how much ?........I can't recall me stating that exactly

That does not mean that it can't be done ;-)

What I said was, not only will I pick up the LX, bring back to Tejas, swap the running gear, BUT I will also wire it, get it running, mount your 79 front clip, tube chassis the ass end, link it on coil overs, tune the suspension from there, AND I'll mount the 4Ds you buy on whatever bead locl wheels you buy, THEN drive the damn thing back to Tulsa, at 75-80mph (110-120kms per hour for me) just to prove it's not only a rock donkey, but road worthy, as long as you drive me home.

Don't try to misinterpret what in saying.

I'll deliver the complete running package for asking, no problem, with pleasure.

:meh:

I'd be a fool not to accept that....

Since you mentioned the KPHs, I have to believe the rest is true.....
