That's funny. I received a hard copy of this brochure in the mail from a friend. He sent along a wash cloth and a bar of soap and no other explanation.

Are you able to scan it in at a higher resolution?

I'd like to find the plan style cruiser images, that are right at the end of the brochure, at a usable resolution (as high as possible).

Wow, they look good topless!

... I suppose thats not very profound.

I'll see if I can find it for you.

Good detective work! It only took 2+ years to bust him on something he didn't say, LMAO!

no never said i scaned them...and i would normally say that i had found them...it was quite some time since i had downloaded them...but...i dont think that was even the site...it was a french site...not a toyota site.

I had referenced the sites when asked if i had remembered...or...if the site was still up and running:

IH8MUD.com - View Single Post - 60 series Manuals, Factory literature, etc.

I have people PM me about some of my postings...and i tell them where to find them or point them in the right direction

I'm hardly even here in the 60 and 70 series section...all you would need to do is ask...just being neighborly and posting stuff up as i find them.

Seems even more LAMO that you never asked "where did you get those?" you were looking to "bust him" for 2+ years, thats quite lame bro :D

I love the stuff posted, websites don't last long and information for reference gets lost forever at least he's taking the time to seperate these out for all of us to use and enjoy.

He didn't scan them, only found them already on the net and reposted them, and seems to be taking credit for them by not mentioning that.

They are from a PDF that seems to have been created in 2006...
http://www.toyota.com.kw/English/toyota_models/landcruiser/history/html/history/pdf/011_M70.pdf

99% of pics and info are found on the net bar photos you take of your own rides, im sure he not taking credit for making and printing out the original copy of the toyota brochures but just sharing good bits of info and pics with the rest of us toyota fans
good on him for letting us have a look at them as well i doubt most of us would have found them

Yeah, yeah, whatever, just answering a previous post that he could have answered himself earlier, rather than let others think he scanned them in, don't give a toss really, no need to all get so defensive.

And as for waiting around for two years to bust him, what a fxxxing joke, just answering an earlier post in a thread that someone else dug up today, you tool.

Hopefully Ratpuke has the real brochure and can scan it in higher resolution.

This brochure from a South American website would be good to have in higher res as well...

There are not many (any?) high resolution plan style drawings of the 70 series that I can find.

sounds like Simon was the :wrench: to me :flipoff2: :hillbilly:

looks like he posts things up with links alot https://forum.ih8mud.com/70-series-tech/311688-70-series-troopie-paper-model.html

looks like he's trying to be a good guy posting things up and comments like yours BJ is just sad

very defensive is right

If you review this thread, in the original post JohnnyC was sharing some information he found and later Simon was busting his balls because he never disclosed where the info came from. I was simply making a joke referencing the time frame gap. (sarcasm never translates well online)

The fact is we are all here to learn and share information and most people are not keeping score.

These brochures are great, regardless of where they came from. Thanks for posting them up.

Simon was busting his balls because he never disclosed where the info came from.

He was doing more than just busting balls. His reaction later proved that.

BJ your right sarcasm does not translate well. I can see yours being honestly a poking fun. The other guy however :wrench:

Do you have some 70 series brochures or other info to post up, or is your total contribution to the 70 series tech section going to only be trying to argue with someone?

For someone that claims they don't care, you certainly seem to care quite a lot, more than 10% of your total posts on this site are responses to my posts in this thread, you don't even seem interested in the 70 series at all, just want to fight someone elses fight for them.

Anything useful to add about 70 series tech, or are you just going to go on and on about me?

As for not caring about 70 series info from brochures, it doesn't surprise me, that's obviously not what you are in this thread or on this site for.

Some of us actually own 70 series, or are interested in them, and find this sort of tech information useful and/or interesting.

Doesn't matter really, keep being a tool, I don't mind, I'll find some other interesting and useful 70 series brochures to download and bore you with.
