Most likely out. Transmission has to come out of the 60, again. Broken front shaft housing again and now truck will not move.

That sucks, Luis. What tranny are you running? 700r4? H55?
What do you think is the root cause of that failure? I haven't heard of anyone having problems with H55's before. Any pics?
Damn. Have you done a cost analysis comparing a 700r4 and fixing/or buying a new H55? 700r4's are everywhere.
Is there an adapter in between the bellhousing and the H55? How about a bad tranny mount?
Damn... Luis, that sux - you can come to the meeting with out a cruiser and drink a few beers to drown your sorrows.![]()
As for the mount, it has a "custom" mount that Randy had made. Now that you mention it, it may be pushing up too much on the tranny. Wish I knew what the alignment could be checked.
Seen this happen when the alignment dowel pins between the trans and bell-housing are missing or pushed inward during the install... Dowels serve a purpose...
The only other thing would be: if the clutch fork and t/o brg are vibrating so bad that "bad vibes" are transferred to the retainer causing the breakage.. usually a "rattling" noise can be heard or observe a quiver in the fork when the motor is running... Here is a pic of a t/o brg I removed from one with the "quiver syndrome"...(should look smooth).. played hell with the front retainer and fingers on the pressure plate as well.... This is sometimes contributed to improper pressure plate finger height settings, the diaphragm fingers should be all uniform...
You were talking about putting a 4l60 in there...
