New shoes and rblt cylinders allway around..has single master..in keeping w drums, is it beneficial for me to r/r with a double master cylinder? If so is it as simple as a swap or more involved? Thanks for any help..

I would go to a double master cylinder for safety. I have helped a friend do it, we just had to run some new hard lines for the front. He also added front disc brakes. I know someone he has done it a few times and can add more detail. Have fun with it.

Thank you hogan..im staying w drums(for now) so upgrading the m/c will benefit ifwhen i do go disc...just wondered if a double will assist drums or have no change..

Im close by a upullit..theres an 84 4runner and a 90's tacoma or t100..both w disc..the 4runner has smaller diam axles..wld the db setup work for my40 from either?

I have a mini truck axle under my fj. The disc brakes from a 76 40 axle work on the mini.i have a complete front disc brake axle for sale when you get ready.its set for a soa already cut and turned.

Ozark Crawler, do you still have the front disc axle for sale? I have a 68 fj40 I'd love to convert to disc up front. If so how much for the axle & to ship it to Cincinnati Ohio?
