Very interesting. I also lovd that setup and color. Would love to know why it's back on the market if anyone finds out.

Just talked to the owner. He traded his 80 for it. He's got a bunch of kids and never gets to use it.

Yeah, I emailed him too. Sounds like someone's coming to see/buy it tomorrow. Is that you KruiserK? I'm next in line if that doesn't work out.

I spoke the seller on Sunday, and was planning to see it that night, and probably purchase it. I checked the ad before I took the two hour drive to check it out, and he suddenly added the information about rebuilding the tranny. I called him and talked it over, but decided not to check it out.

It looks good though overall, especially that color.

so my search continues...

The tranny just needs a $200 rebuild kit and it should be good to go. 50 year old tranny with probably no maintenance forever.

Other option is just to swap back in the stock tranny transfer and rear axle and it is 100% back to stock.
What I should have done to start, but the 7 to 1 first gear and twin stick was too tempting. There are $900 in adapters there.

Just needs that last little bit of love.

That is a great looking cruiser for a very good price. Hard half doors, 8274 (?), complete dash... Not bad, not bad at all.

Sale pending. Hope it's back in a Mudder's hands! I wish it was in my hands

It is. :bounce:

I kinda feel bad about out bidding a guy for it, but figured you dont get second chances at ones like this that often.

Congrats!!! It's a nice one

It never left Mud....

I'm probably going to kick myself in the butt but it's just sitting here in the garage.

Miko, here are some pic's to hold you over.

Too funny. That was a stealthy ninja style sale. Congrats to the seller and new owner!

Glad it will still get some use. Let me know if you need any information. I still remember half of it. :)

It wants love.

At least I am getting some use out of the 80 now. Good to actually use a toy for once instead of it just sitting.

Thanks to Aaron for the sale and all the well wishers for advise. Sale complete and all loaded up for its first leg of the journey to NC!
