'65 FJ45 on Bay Area CL

Hello from the 60s series forum....

Saw this on Bay Area CL and thought someone here might be interested:

'65 Toyota Landcruiser

No affiliation. Says "complete" but "non-running". For $2500 it looks like it's worth checking out. Shows surface rust in the one photo but I'm sure you've all see worse.

I really do love the 45 series (though I don't know jack about them). Someday, I will own one. It's tempting to go get this one and stick it in the garage until some magical later date when I have an excess of time, money, and plans...yeah right

Hope someone here gets it and brings it back to life.

Just wanted to see who picked this up. If I remember correctly, the ad said there was rust (or crack) on the frame.

I was too slow to call. Plus, didn't know how to handle the frame issue and I have other 2 other projects in the pipeline.

Original CL post, by owner in Santa Rosa area, was that ad for $2500.

Tow yard company in Rohnert Park bought it (I presume) and posted it on CL for more than $5k a few weeks later. =(
