I'm going to get it.

I'm a sucker for a 60 series. Never had an FJ-62.

buy Greg's old one and bring it back in the family.

'89 fj62. Around 200k, pretty stock except for TJM bumper and Ramsey 8k. Will crank, but dies when driven after about 200ft. Replaced fuel pump and filter, but don't have the time, money or know how to get it properly running again. Always said I was gonna keep it until I could put said time and money into it, but that looks about 15 years away, so I think I'll just sell it, or keep it as an aging memorial to past adventures.

Loaded 80

That's a heck of a deal for $1000
It has a few battle scars, but it's essentially a one-owner. My dad bought it new in 1989 and I bought it from him in 1993. Except for the year I lived in Missoula, it's always been a southern truck. The more I think about it the less I want to sell it.

Are there pics somewhere?

Real estate has been purchased...

Once I get the new wiring harness in, this betch'll be done!

How do you like that ARB compressor... I gotta get something better than the little portable POS thing I have at present.

I love it. I had the single ARB before (but it quit on me.) This is really just two of those running together. For running the lockers and airing up a truck or two it is great. Keep looking if you want to run air tools.

Elbert,

Viair makes a good kit with a small tank. Check out Poly Performance. They have all of their stuff on their site.

Been talking with the new owner of my old 62. Cruiserhead from up in PA. He sounds psyched.
