It's not that much really. There was a layer in there. Not a gallon.

Staynor is gonna bring me a 2F he's had sitting in his yard in the rain with a 2x4 over the carb to the Crawl

It never rains in California, but girl, don't they warn ya. It pours, man, it pours.

Something like this from Jegs should work but no personal experience.

Oil Catch Tank

Go 3FE!

So the guy in the end
Took his off and is just going to deal with some oil in intake.

Hmmm

Maybe figure out a reroute like the trans/tcase deal.

But in all honesty. F it. Just keep oil with you. It makes you look like you are doing something at gas stops. Most people this day and age don't even know how to open hood. Make sure that hood cable is in good working order.

I'm with Grogan. I like the vintage 2F also. It's easy to work on and tinker with.

The V8 in the pig is cool to drive but there is something really cool about having old s*** that still works.

Man, I think the $500 engine is just the tip of the penis. I can't see how you can do it for less than $5000 paying someone and that is if they had all the parts ready with no fab work. I am thinking it would be closer to $8000 to do a V8 with working A/C

Sounds like a job for the Three 6 crew!!

I found a wire that was unhooked today to my carb fan and hooked it back up. The carb fan came on at some point when I was driving to the back lake then it would not go off. So, did not come on when I hooked up dead wire....did come on after driving but it never shut off. I let the truck sit about 30 minutes and the fan was still going. I unplugged it.

Any ideas?

That said, I got a great set of pics in the process.......

If it is the sensor wire that usually burns off, you can just ground it and bypass the temp activation. It does run for about 30 minutes before shutting off on its own, so maybe give it a little longer (like 45 minutes) before calling it broken.

That's how I hooked mine up. Came on every time. Made a huge help restarting the truck.
