hey there, long time lurker, figured it was time to pull the trigger. Probably going to throw up a build thread before too long.
Backstory: About 6 months ago my gf sold her Tacoma and bought a 60 with a blown motor.
Ended up with an 89 62 parts car for $500, so we decided to build up a 2fe.
We just started assembling the motor this weekend.

This is an ode to the old girl. I was doing evacuations during the flood for my family and neighbors trapped in the Big Thompson canyon (hwy 34) September 16th, 2013 after the rain stopped. She got smashed on the passenger side by a careless bonehead.

Just bought a 1990 FJ62 with a diesel conversion from a local estate sale. The guy started it but died before he could finish it. No pics yet, but I think it's been on these forums already. It's tan with white bed liner.

I have been a member for some time now but I am downsizing and have mine for sale now on eBay:

1990 Land Cruiser FJ62
231K miles
Mods: Battery box, special shifter bushing, rear cigarette lighter axillary outlet.

This will have a new owner soon and I know you will treat them as nicely as you have me! Thanks everyone for all you do!!!!!!!!!!! Also thanks for all the past insight to solutions. Have loved my cruiser but now have inherited too many other hobbies. WIthout your help and information, owning this classic would have not been the breeze that it has been with the many out there who are willing to give assistance within seconds of a question being asked and providing expert help at that. So for that I cannot express my gratitude enough!!!
