I am a new FJ62 owner.

1. 1989 FJ62

2. Amir

3. ... still thinking about it

4. 30,605 mi, yes that is original miles, at the time I bought it, 2 days ago :)

5. Completely stock (for now).

6. Will be using as a weekend vehicle. It's original owners were a 80 yr old couple, needless to say, it has never been offroad, they garaged it. They just got the cap, rotor, wires, plugs, rear brake lines, e-brake line and new tires done. I dont have pics of it right now, I will by the end of the week when I pick it up.

5. 2H, H55F, 3 in spring lift , 31 10.5 BFG AT, Wilderness Rack, LED'd, Rock Solid Custom Rear Bumper w/ Swing Away,), Custom front bumper.

Doug was a 60 forum faithful but passed away early this past year. He would have wanted his 60 here on this thread. I am entrusted with it for now. It needs an engine and suspension but little else for the continued expedition/exploration type use it will see by my family and his family. Here is the last pic Doug posted. RIP Douglas :frown:

New 62 owner......This thing rocks!!!!!

Alright...I picked up my 88 FJ62 about 3 weeks ago....Mainly been lurking but decided to post tonight.

Have joined 3FE @ yahoo and even got the sticker already!

So far....added SIlverstars....and wow...what a difference.

Mats from walmart..cheap and pretty good.

Oil pressure guage went last night...gonna test the sender this weekend and probably replace. Is there any need to go OEM or is what I've read about getting a Napa unit ok?

Plan to order all the parts including thermostat for a tune-up sometime this week. I will be getting a hold of CDan.

Had a 2" custom exhaust installed. Great addition.

Oh yeah...I almost forgot.....also installed a Scion stereo...awesome...but now need to upgrade speakers.

And last.....installed Leather heated seats from a '95 Saab 9-5

Planned mods/fixes:
Within a month.....Tuneup,valve adjustment, Tint, alam/keyless entry (no starter), extra 12v outlets inside cab/under hood/and one in the cargo area, Cargo box, and possibly new console.

Next 6 months....new wheels (black), black out the grill (losing the chrome slowly), undercoat, brakes, ARB front and rear bumpers, MG Alt & Dual battery, and roof rack.

If you can think of any other "can't live withouts" let me know.

1. Year and model of vehicle......88 FJ62
2. Name of owner.....Chad Cizinsky
3. Name of vehicle (optional).....Nothing yet
4. Mileage on the truck odometer......151,072 (Original)...and only one rust spot on the top part of the hatch
5. Modifications, if any.....listed above
6. How you use the truck.....Daily driver right now, company car as of March so then a project vehicle
