Newbie on here.

Jon.

Really nice HJ, I like that colour. Didn't realise you could still get 60's in the UK. You know any good places to buy parts there? Still have loads of mates that side.

Great looking truck and interesting paint job. Is the black on the roof and cowl trim the same bedliner type material as the rockers? Also interested to see what you can find out about that front bumper, very simplistic and nice.

thanks! yeah the black paint is bed liner. not sure about the bumpers there are no markings. the roof rack was custom made for the truck but the way it bolts into the roof seems a little sketchy to me so that might be coming off. interested in finding out about the lift how tall and make.

Looks like probably 2.5" or 3" lift if you are running 33s. Bumper looks to be custom/handmade, mind starting a build thread on your truck and giving us some close ups?

Your not missing out there like drive on ice on rock steps, grate in the mud but. Silverstone Xtreme (looks the same) are better as there alot softer.

I used Silverstone XTreme, too, but unfortunately the 35 inch tires were only 86cm high, like the 33 from Simex.

I also was unhappy, because they are so soft rubber and on the street or rocks you'll finish them very soon.

Nice trucks... was just down there over Thanksgiving. Wife's grandfather has lived there since he was a teen and still lives in his parents house. Took him out to breakfast in town at Dillons' (think that is what it was called).
