Hello Everyone!
Here's alttle of how we ended up with the Cruiser.

With a newborn and all crap you have to drag along with you the compact car wasn't cutting it. She's 5'3'' tall and her knees were in the dash with the car seat behind her, so something bigger was in order. We were looking at Jeep Cherokee's and Grands because I wanted something 4x4 with a straight axle so when it eventually became mine (after we can afford her something newer/nicer) I would have something to play with.

So Saturday we passed by a used car dealer in town and she interupts me and says "I'd drive that!"... So needless to say Monday morning once they opened back up I was there.

This is a one owner FJ-62 I bought two years ago from a couple in Fairbanks. All maintainence was well documented right down to the MPG of every tank of gas. It was dealer maintained using all synthetic lubes from the start.

I've done some minor repairs and cleaned it up a bit and the wife loves to drive it. I'm chasing a spot of rust on the left rear fender but it's not in bad shape for a 21 year old Alaskan rig.

For now I plan to put in a rear locker, add some lights and a mild lift.
