Black BearWhat trail is this?
We can't claim all the credit, the general ramp was already there when we came down. We added some more, covered them in sand, then put the MaxTrax over to stabilize things as much as possible. Worked like a charm!^ Stackin' rocks like a boss!
Took the truck out for its first “video shoot”. A guy online reached out that he’s starting an overland brand of sorts and wanted to feature my truck in his first video. It was fun and I’m excited to see how it turns out.View attachment 2624826

Hole in the Rock Trail (not to be confused with Hole in the Rock Road). Same original route in SE Utah (though opposite sides of Lake Powell), but Road is pretty easy (though beautiful), Trail is pretty legit. With the right vehicle and frame of mind there is no part of this trail that is mind numbingly technical (so don't confuse this with a rock garden kinda gig), but it is definitely a whole hell of a lot of bouncing around and slow speed in the sun. I can't imagine doing this as a one day in and one day out, that sounds like work with no exploring to me. If you are in and out in two days or less, with a more modified rig, I can easily see this being a straight forward gig. We did it with two DD's and spent a week, the 40 had two people, the Goat (my 60) had three people and three dogs, so we had an ass load of food and water (weight) on board, greatly increasing difficulty, and enjoyment.Nice!
where was that?

It’s been a lot of fun. I wish I had more time to take it out but the time I do have to drive it... it’s a blast!how's darwink's former beast treating you? that's bad@$$

maybe answered already...but is that a solid axle swap 100 in the background?
So help my understand is there a kit that uses the 60 axles and all the pieces are welded on or is an 80 axle required?Another coil conversion with 80 axles, 4.88s. lockers. This one is getting a LS3 Erod Connect and Cruise as well.
