4runner = baby Land Cruiser.
True words. It's a Land Cruiser Prado since 3G4R.
I for one am very happy of Toyota's continuation of the 4R development for the US market. The availability of used 200's will be basically nil and it's only time before we're all in need of something else. The size, utility, and aftermarket support of the 5G4R makes it a natural replacement. I'm less concerned with the exterior styling as I am with the interior materials quality. It's nowhere near what the 100 is. I'll take my 13 year old 100 against a brand new 4R any day for product refinement, and I should; it's a $60 vs $40k vehicle. Just shutting the doors on the 150 and you know it's not the same. But, it has great interior volume, is competent off road, and gets reasonable fuel economy.
