My policy for those who get me good patterns that I need for my biz get free lines. It's that simple. You supply good patterns, and order other lines, you only pay for the lines (checked below) I have patterns for.

I need lines donated (shipped) to me to make the rest of the patterns needed to completely fill out kits for all the 55s. I need the lines under the hood and along the chassis. If any of you have your truck aprt rebuilding or restoring, it's time to replace those old lines anyway. Over a couple of weeks time, you could have a brand new set ready for installation on your truck.

Look at the charts below, see which time frame your truck is in and let me know if you can help out. I'd like to help you out too. The unchecked boxes are the ones I need.

The names are as follows (they describe where they are):
FFL - Front Frame Loop
M2F - Master (cylinder) to Front
CHL - Chassis Long
F2R - Firewall to Rear
MFA - Master (cylinder) to Front A
MFB - Master (cylinder) to Front B
F2F - Firewall to Front
CHF - Chassis to Front (axle)

Front Wheel A and B. The small lines for the front brakes.

Back from where? Or are you just now finding out I've been in biz again for a while... Fall...ish.

Just now finding out!

I have a '74 body w/ a '76 disc brake front axle.

I am going to try to find a diagram in the FSM of all the lines we can label with your code...

If you need any lines, let me know. And spread the word around please.

Bump

@Rainman I need hard line from tee on front axle to soft line @ left front wheel for a 77 fj55. Just noticed mine is smashed.

Did he start up again? Seems like I remember him retiring from this after I bought a set maybe 3 years ago?

I have no idea. Appreciate the heads up!

I keep trying to find a reason for a CNC tube bender. It’s the “collect the whole set” nature of getting samples that stops me.

I have a hydraulic bender (you guys know I bought BIO, right?) but all the dies for it are 1” and larger, and I’d want to get the repeatability right.

@Rainman’s last post was in 2022 talking about his duce coupe.

I think we are racking up a number of reasons...

55 exhaust perhaps?

I saw rainman at Lowe’s last month. He told me he’s completely out of cruisers. I see him every now and then. I’ll tell him people are asking next time I see him
Wow, that is a big change.
I'm sure there is a story there...
