I bought some magnetic lights and they dont seem to be working, The 4 pin flat plug on my '94 80 has 5 wires and the new lights come with a new replacement but it only has 4 wires to go along with 4 pins....

So, Is there a way to splice the 5 into 4 wires? if so which wire's? I dont know if I have an other wiring issues I have never used it before, It looks like its been dragged down the road a time or two.
Thoughts?

That plug you have is an adapter... it converts the 5 into 4 (combines the tail/turn) into one light with a one-way diode on each side of the circuit. You could do it yourself with Radioshack parts...... Or just go buy another adapter :D

CRIPES! I hate having to buy more parts...
Im taking the 40 tub in on Mon. and would like lights working, I guess I better see if the terminals are just bad(reason for not working) or if there is some other issue.
Thanks for the idea

Quick update...
This was much ado about nothing...I checked the wiring in the rear fender and all looked well so I guess the old plug broke somewhere down the road(literally) I wired in the new piece pictured above and it works great!
