Has anyone else suffered complete bearing failure on their 4X4Labs rear bumper swing out? Discovered my spare tire swing out was super loose after a trip. Eventually accessed the spindle with a lot of hammering and screw driver prying. Turns out the bearing rollers turned completely into sludge. Anyone know what bearings these are and how to remove them? It seems I have to remove the whole swing out arm, but I can't figure out how to remove it. The bottom bearing is still attached. Is it just a lot of upwards force required?

Hi there. They just drop on but over time settle in and yours look pretty well worn. It will need direct upwards pressure to remove (don't crank on the arm) lots of break free or WD-40 and let it soak if its really stiff is not going to hurt it either. check the spindle is not damaged when you remove it.
Let us know how it goes.
