You rock!

Thank you!

Hey... do you sell the Yeti can coozie things?

Do you mean the two can holders like Jason has in his 60?

The original was sized around the Yeti coozie that was the thick foam. I re sized it for the thinner collapsible style because the thick ones can't be made with logos of more than one color. The thin ones can have whatever artwork you want

No, they won't let me be a dealer. They don't even acknowledge the fact that I make Yeti 45 and 50 specific baskets for their cooler. I've called their marketing and sales numerous times but they don't even return the calls.. I may have to switch to Grizzly...Especially since I found out Yeti is actually made in the Philippines. The ones hear are just assembled here. From what I can surmise Grizzly is made in the USA. I'll know today
for sure. I called them and we'll see if they'll return my call. Yeti doesn't seem to want to answer those questions

I've had the same experience with Aisin Aftermarket, Koyo aftermarket, Denso aftermarket, Mitsuboshi aftermarket--

Bummer.

At least you are getting good Intel Dave on the back story.

Well Grizzly called me back in less than an hour. I'll be dropping the "yeti" at the bottom I'll probably just keep the 45 if for nothing else but to identify the basket at this end.
It will still fit the Yeti 45 but I'll make sure it also fits the Grizzly 40. Apparently the Yeti 45 is really a 40 quart cooler so the 40 Grizzly has the same actual volume and hearly identical dimensions. Some indipendent testers online say the Yeti 45 is closer to 39.5 quarts They are USA made and have a lifetime warranty and is 100.0 or so cheaper.
I never would have checked had Yeti ever showed the consideration to call back.

Now if I can swing a dealer thing i may be able to offer a package deal and save everyone some cash:hmm:

RTIC, IMO are just as good.. for half the money... My guys during oilfield days had all kinds of high priced coolers. The Pelican coolers are good as long as they are babied. Latches snap off, seals are iffy, but holds ice well. THe RTIC was the go to in the long run.. Cheaper and worked as well if not better than the BIG MONEY coolers...

RTIC, ORCA, Yeti... Pelican.... just money right............

RTIC – Half the Price of YETI Coolers & Holds More Ice!

ORCA is another good one, BUT TOO MUCH $$

If you really want to keep stuff super cold for long periods of time... just add some rock salt to the ice. It drops the temp and will make beer slushies.... A 45$ Coleman from Walmart, 20#s of ice and some rock salt and you're good for a good cold beer weekend at the lake..

Who in their right mind would leave a can of beer in here long enough to be concerned with the cooling properties?

Just trying to push American made stuff Jason. I will try to find a happy medium on these. A 40~45 basket that fits Yeti, Pelican, Orca, Grizzly, etc.
Nothing worse than spending this kind of money and finding out you can't take it with you in your expensive cooler carrier

Completely understand on American made, all for that brother.

Good point... all I need is a 15 minute cooler

15 minutes seems adequate if you're involved in multi-tasking activities like fishing or shooting critters. Otherwise 5-6 minutes is all you need. :)
