When I got my 80 series I noticed the headlight bulb retainers were rather cracked and melted when I found the bulb wouldn’t sit in the back of the headlight assembly. Like many other people I have had a tough time finding the part no 4513356, each retainer I ordered didn’t fit properly. Of course Toyota no longer makes the part so I had to get creative. I took apart a bike chain and used the linkage in place of the retainer. The fasteners fit through perfectly, I put 2x links on the upper bolt (gravity works in your favor here) since you can’t really get 2x links on the bottom two. Having 2x up top retains the bulb more and you have one for backup in case you drop one. This solution actually work really well, you can simply rotate the links if you need to take the bulb out, or use a screwdriver. Hope this helps!
