I talked with them about it [the 40th Campaign] a couple times and hit deadends. I think it was a North American marketing ploy by TMS to just pump up the final volume of US 80 Series. I do know that the CE and 40th badge kits were all installed at the ports, not in Japan. That's how I came to have the badge set that went on what is now Kaderabek's truck. I'd be surprised if they have any records about it.
