40series TLC with 350 SBC

This is more like a SBC related question...

A friend blowed the block of his 350, the engine he had came off a 1990 Irok-Z camaro (center bolt heads and 1 piece rear main seal)... recently he got an old 350 block from an old Camaro, maybe 1975(2 piece rear)... is it possible to use the late model center bolt heads on this old block ???

I think most chebby chit is swappable but why would you want to? 75 blew as far as flow goes (cop blocks aside).

The heads will fit ,if they are Vortec heads they will require a diff intake manifold, If by center bolt you mean the valve cover,you can get away with just drilling the manifold bolts on a diff angle ,meaning sticking 3/8 drill in the hole and useing the shank to get the right angle.
