howdy folks, i am an aussie and i just purchased a very used hj45 ute. so far i have most of the metal work off and its pretty rusted around all the joints on the cab. i am going to cut all the rust out and weld (mig) some new sheeting in place, it will take time but worth it i hope. i have been visiting this site for a while now and i guess i will also be asking a lot of questions as i progress in this. 1 question now, the original radiator which is brass is history is it worth replacing in brass or going aluminium style?
any info much apreciated.;p

:flipoff2: Welcome

Unless your HJ45 is going to be "highly modified", I prefer the look of the standard radiator (& shroud etc) in the engine bay.

And a competent repair shop should easily be able to make your old radiator as good as - or better than - new. (And probably for less than the cost of an aluminium one too.)

And there are lots of OEM-style radiators for sale this side of the ditch at reasonable prices - So I'm guessing the same would apply in Oz. (If for any reason you need to go down that route.)

Ps. Photos are always greatly appreciated ..............pppplease :D
