40 series steering wheel wrap

I need a new steering wheel wrap for my '79. Search here seems to only have mention of 60 series and up and Ebay/Amazon doesn't specify theirs will fit old school skinny wheels. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as always.

I have a skinny steering wheel from a 71 Caddy on my Toy so I bought a leather wrap on ebay for six bucks and cut it to the appropriate width punched new holes and laced it up.
Been on for about a year and looks good.

I know this old school style will work. Have one on my 40. Will have to find out which size works though. I have two at home in the box.

Most aftermarket steering wheels won't fit the giant FJ40 wheel. Depends on whether you want leather or vinyl.

I think there is eBay seller of leather ones that makes larger sizes, but they are fairly expensive. Vinyl covers may stretch a lot more easily. At one time, SOR sells wheel covers - I think they are Wheelskins or some quality brand: Page 301 Land Cruiser Steering Wheel Covers

Glad I could help. I tied more than a few of these on to steering wheels in the late 70's. I knew that's what would make the 77 complete! And yep, beige brothers.
