I knew I knew this vehicle. It's the one my friend had that I got running about a year ago and she sold it to her boyfriend at the time.
That doesn't sound like a 1F engine. V8 maybe. What in the heck was he doing at the end? "If you can't find it, grind it" old theory?
He is a she. It's an F as I was the one who got it running after sitting for 4 years in her backyard. Only to have her sell it a month later. Had I known that I wouldn't have fixed it. As she should have finished it and kept it.
I'm not the kind of person who fixes something so someone can sell it kind of guy.
The grinding was her trying to shift it into gear. The clutch slave was shot. I kept telling her not to do that. But considering your seeing her drive it for the first time ever it was worth it.
Not many cruiser chicks around. We need to hold on to the ones we have.
