I am planning on redoing the interior of my 60 this summer, racing seats, new carpet, and the like, but I want to change the seat belts out to 4 point harnesses, where and how do I mount these harnesses into my wagon.

Despite what some people will tell you, the only CORRECT way to mount the shoulder belts is at a height equal to shoulder height when seated, this envolves using a roll bar/harness bar combo, or some other strong steel bar bolted to shoulder height behind your seat.
To prevent spinal injuries in the event of a roll-over type situation the shoulder belts can not be mounted greater than 20 degrees off of the horizontal. Too high, and you slide up into the roof. Too low and you injure your spine via compression.
The lap belts can be mounted to the OE belt positions or directly to the floor using re-enforced eye bolts and backing plates.
I do not see any easy way to mount the shoulder belts in the 60 without a bolt or weld in type roll bar with harness bar attachment.

the stock blue is not going to match the black and red scheme i am planning on using, are there any units that will bolt up in the same spot as the stock units, or do I just need to die the belts and paint the plastic pieces like I plan to do the dash.

bummer, I searched but couldn't find anything close. I'm looking for a little more security in the front seats myself. Maybe I'll post up a new thread.
